On Sunday, September 13th, 2026, the 28th Annual Riding to Remember Fallen Police, Firefighters, and Veterans Charity Motorcycle Ride will take place, honoring those who have given their lives in service to our communities and country. This long-standing Michiana tradition supports local children, the elderly, veterans, and public safety organizations, bringing together hundreds of riders and supporters from across the region. The event is expected to draw 700 to 1,100 motorcyclists, forming a continuous procession that will travel through several Elkhart County communities. Traffic delays of 20 to 30 minutes are anticipated along the route as the ride progresses.
Pre-ride Party – Saturday September 12
Join us for the Pre-Ride Party at Ekhart Indian Motorcycle (3016 Brittany Court, Elkhart, IN 46514) on Saturday, September 12th, from 4 PM to 8 PM, with live music and food. Riders and the public are invited to enjoy food, music, merchandise, and camaraderie as we gear up for the big ride. Event sponsors and vendors will be on-site, and it’s a great time to register early in person from 4 to 8 PM, or pick up your commemorative t-shirt and rider packet if pre-registered.
Ride Schedule – Sunday September 13
Registration gates open at 9:00AM.
Registration: Day of event, 9-12PM at The Moose Lodge.
Memorial Service, Reading of Fallen Names: 12:30 AM-1:00 PM.
Pre-ride safety meeting: 1:15PM.
Kickstands Up: 1:30 PM.
The ride will travel through Wakarusa, Nappanee, Goshen, and Middlebury.
The ride is @ 56 miles in total and concludes around 3 PM at the Middlebury American Legion Post 210 at 103 York Drive in Middlebury.
Motorcycle parking is available at Lozier Inc. at 215 York Drive, directly across from the Legion.

Public safety agencies along the route will provide traffic control to ensure safe and continuous passage.
Call to the Community – Show your patriotic spirit!
We invite residents and community groups to line the route in patriotic support. Waving flags, displaying banners, and standing in unity show appreciation for our fallen heroes and those who continue to serve.
Motorists should plan alternate routes due to expected delays. Public safety partners will assist with traffic control throughout the event.
